I didn’t set out to start a studio—I started by teaching myself how to build beautiful things. What began as curiosity turned into years of experimenting, learning through trial and error, and creating objects that felt both functional and sculptural. Over time, that process became the foundation for Gina Bellay Studio.

While lighting marks the studio’s first collection, it is only the beginning. Many of the designs have been years in the making and will be introduced gradually, allowing each collection the time and attention it deserves. I look forward to sharing them as the studio continues to evolve.

Working from a Brooklyn studio, Gina develops each design from concept through final assembly, creating pieces that are quietly refined, thoughtfully composed, and made to last.

Every piece is handcrafted using carefully sourced materials and electrical components, combined with custom details and meticulous finishing. Rather than striving for perfect uniformity, the studio embraces the subtle variations, ensuring each piece possesses its own character.
